Die Veranstaltung führt in die Grundlagen der Deutschdidaktik ein und stellt zentrale Arbeits- und Forschungsfelder vor. Dabei finden Theorien, Modelle und Methoden zur Analyse und Vermittlung von Sprache, Literatur und Medien Anwendung. Die Studierenden erhalten einen Überblick zu fachdidaktischen Forschungsansätzen und Arbeitsmethoden sowie zur grundlegenden Fachterminologie. Es werden Einblicke gegeben in die Geschichte und aktuelle Konstitution der wissenschaftlichen Disziplin "Deutschdidaktik" und des Unterrichtsfaches "Deutsch", z.B.: Bezüge zwischen Fachwissenschaften und Fachdidaktiken, bildungspolitische Diskurse, curriculare Vorgaben, Kompetenzfelder des Deutschunterrichts, Professionalisierungsforschung.
