Schulabsentismus, umgangssprachlich auch als "Schulschwänzen" bezeichnet, ist ein Phänomen, dass aktuell unter bildungs-, sozial- und ordnungspolitischen Gesichtspunkten, aber auch im Hinblick auf sogenannte „Schulstreiks“, breit diskutiert wird. Synonym zum Begriff "Schulschwänzen" finden sich aber auch Begriffe wie "Schulmüde", "Schulabstinent" oder "Schulverweigerung". Im Seminar werden wir uns nicht nur mit der historischen Dimension von Schulpflicht auseinandersetzen, sondern auch kritisch die im Schulabsentismusdiskurs verwendeten Begriffe genauer betrachten und dem damit verbundenen "Othering". Entlang theoretischer und empirischer Texte werden wir versuchen, Ansätze „guter“ pädagogischer Praxis entlang des Mottos "Stell dir vor es ist Schule und alle wollen hin" zu entwickeln.

Die Bescheinigung einer Studienleistung zu Übungszwecken besteht aus zwei Teilen. Teil 1 umfasst die verantwortliche Übernahme von Aufgaben im Seminarkontext. Das kann bspw. die thematische Gestaltung mit Ergebnissicherung (über bspw. eine kommentierte PPP) einzelner Themenschwerpunkte sein (p.P. max. 20 Minuten) oder die Vorbereitung und Durchführung einer Diskussionsmoderation mit schriftlicher Ergebnissicherung (über bspw. Verlaufsprotokoll). Teil 2 besteht in der Erstellung eines (fragengestützten) Reflexionsberichtes, der bis spätestens zum 30.09.2024 im Lernraum einzustellen ist. Weitere Konkretisierungen und Abstimmungen erfolgen in der ersten, konstituierenden Sitzung des Seminars am 18.04.2024.
