Der Grundkurs befragt die Stadt als historische Lebenswelt vom 19. bis zum 21. Jahrhundert. Wie wandelten sich Wohnen, Arbeiten, politische Ordnung und Gesellschaft in der Stadt der Moderne, und mit welchen Spuren der Vergangenheit leben wir heute?
Auf der propädeutischen Ebene thematisieren wir das Phänomen der historischen Zeit, ihre Erkenntnismöglichkeiten und gesellschaftlichen Funktionen. Geübt werden zentrale methodische Kompetenzen wie der Umgang mit fachwissenschaftlichen Rechercheinstrumenten, die Auseinandersetzung mit einschlägiger Forschungsliteratur sowie die Quellenanalyse.
Die Prüfungsleistung besteht aus einem semesterbegleitenden Portfolio (Modul 22-SU-G Geschichte und ihre Didaktik im Sachunterricht) bzw. einer Quellenanalyse (Modul 22-SU12G Geschichtswissenschaft und ihre Didaktik im Sachunterricht).
Die Teilnahme am Tutorium sowie an der Exkursion (voraussichtlich in KW 25) sind Pflichtbestandteile des Grundkurses.
