250210 Wozu Schule? Funktion von Schule in Nationen unterschiedlicher politischer Systeme am Beispiel Südostasien. (S) (SoSe 2021)

Studierende treten in diesem Seminar mit Lehrpersonen und Studierenden in Fernost Asien: China, Indonesien, Philippinen und Vietnam in Kontakt, um andere Formen von Schule und des Unterrichts kennenzulernen.

Seit PISA und TIMMSS wissen wir, gesellschaftliche Schlüsselfaktoren und erziehungswissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse überschreiten nationale Grenzen und Interessen - das Klassenzimmer wird global. Bildungswissenschaftler*innen und Lehrpersonen sollten sich ein Bild davon machen, wie Lehrpläne, Unterricht und Lehramtsausbildungen auf der anderen Seite des Globus aussehen.

Im Seminar führen wir in die Methodologie ethnographischer Fallstudien und in die Cultural Studies ein. Wir wollen Einblicke zu historisch-kulturellen Entwicklungen von Schule in Ländern des Fernen Ostasien generieren und Erkenntnisse für Schulentwicklungen in Deutschland gewinnen.

Die direkte Kommunikation mit Lehrpersonen aus Asien gestalten wir via Social-Media und Videokonferenzen, um die kulturellen und historischen Eigenheiten wissenschaftlich zu untersuchen und für die eigene Schul- und Unterrichtsentwicklung nutzbar zu machen.

Empfohlen sind geringe Social-Media Fähigkeiten (wir arbeiten mit Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp, WeChat, Zalo usw.) und basale Englischkenntnisse für die Kommunikation mit Lehrpersonen und Lehramtsstudierenden aus den Fernost-asiatischen Ländern.

Aufgrund der aktuellen Lage wird wie angekündigt das Sommersemester 2021 noch größtenteils in digitalen Formaten stattfinden.

Daher erwarten wir in dieser Veranstaltung folgendes Format:
