392278 ISY Project: Causing user insecurity with the robot simulation Flobi (Pj) (SoSe 2018)

Contents, comment

- Short Description
The interaction with a robot or virtual agent can lead to user insecurity, for example caused by system errors or ambiguous instructions. The robot simulation Flobi will be used to realize an interactive system in which this kind of insecurity is provoked deliberately. A scenario will be created that enables the analysis of situations that cause insecurity and the analysis of the users reactions.
The corresponding functionalities for the robot simulation Flobi (speech recognition, speech synthesis, dialog manager, ...) will be realized with existing system components as well as your own ideas.

Please note that the teams will be selected by the supervisors on the basis of short applications that students are expected to send to them. Registering to the project in the ekVV will only be regarded as expression of interest; it will not secure a team membership.
Please get in touch with the supervisors for information on the application procedure.
