Der Hohenzollernstreit hat die Geschichte Preußens wieder in die öffentliche Aufmerksamkeit gerückt und innerhalb der Geschichtswissenschaft einen Streit über unterschiedliche Interpretationslinien ausgelöst. Doch was lernen wir aus diesem Historiker*innenstreit über die Geschichtswissenschaft in Deutschland? Wie lässt sich die Geschichte Preußens im 19. Jahrhundert erzählen? Welche Forschungsansätze gibt es und wie haben sich Erzähltraditionen in den letzten Jahrzehnten und damit die geschichtswissenschaftlichen Perspektiven und Interessen verändert? Diesen und weiteren Fragen wird das Historiographie Seminar nachgehen, um unter anderem die Geschichte der Geschichtswissenschaft und der Geschichtsschreibung nachzuzeichnen. Das Seminar findet als Blockveranstaltung statt und ist als Buchclub konzipiert.
