250018 Die Grundschule als lernende Institution - Aktuelle reformpädagogische Entwicklungen (S) (SoSe 2012)

„Die Zukunft beginnt in der Grundschule“, so lautet der Titel eines bereits 1996 erschienenen Buches, in dem Empfehlungen zur Neugestaltung der Primarstufe formuliert werden. Nach wie vor ist die Grundschule eine der wichtigsten Stationen im Leben (fast) aller Kinder und bedarf deshalb einer stetigen Überprüfung ihres Bildungs- und Erziehungsauftrags. Ganz in diesem Sinne wollen wir in unserem Seminar aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln und mit verschiedenen Schwerpunktsetzungen auf die Institution Grundschule blicken. Dabei werden folgende Inhalte im Mittelpunkt stehen: (1) Die historische Entwicklung der Grundschule; (2) Aktuelle bildungspolitische Entwicklungen der Grundschule; (3) Aktuelle pädagogische Konzepte der Grundschule wie z. B. Jahrgangsmischung, Individualisierung, Frühbeginn Englisch, Ganztag; (4) Motoren der Innovation wie z. B. der Verbund „Blick über den Zaun“, Grundschulzeitschriften, Lehrerfortbildungen und Studien der empirischen Schulforschung.

Das Seminar richtet sich in erster Linie an angehende Lehrerinnen und Lehrer der Primarstufe, wie auch der Sekundarstufe I und II.

Für eine 'Aktive Teilnahme' wird eine regelmäßige Mitarbeit in den Seminarsitzungen, die Lektüre von Texten als Vorbereitung sowie die schriftliche Bearbeitung von kleineren Aufgaben wie z.B. das Erstellen von Interviewfragen oder das Schreiben eines kurzen Essays erwartet.
