Im Mittelpunkt der Veranstaltung steht die Lektüre des zweiten Teils von Simone de Beauvoirs epochalem Werk „Das andere Geschlecht“ mit dem Titel „Gelebte Erfahrung“. Dabei soll die Lektüre weniger einer feministischen Spurensuche dienen, sondern Anregungen und Anknüpfungspunkte für eine geschlechterkritische Beratung eröffnen, die die individuelle Existenz vor dem Hintergrund von Freiheit, Autonomie und Verantwortung im Sinne der Auseinandersetzung mit der Ambiguität der eigenen Existenzbedingungen reflektiert. Dabei wird zudem die Entwicklung menschlicher Individualität im Kontext materieller und struktureller Bedingungen für Beratungskontexte erschlossen. Die Lektüre von de Beauvoir wird mit aktuellen Texten zu Geschlechterverhältnissen, geschlechtlicher Subjektivierung und Care angereichert.
