Goals of the seminar:

  • independent reading and understanding of scientific texts (in English)
  • composition of a short written report (as a practice for the bachelor thesis)
  • giving feedback
  • preparation and presentation of a talk,
  • The topic of the talk/report should be about a recent algorithmic problem in computational pangenomics and its solution.

The students are encouraged to suggest their own topics. Further suggestions are given by the lecturer.
