All foreign-language learners of all levels at some point (or possibly more often than not) have experienced moments when they clearly know what they want to say, have a decent set of related vocabulary at hand, but can’t necessarily arrange things in the perfect way in order to express themselves and get across what they truly mean. This can very easily lead to misunderstandings, confusion, and worse, a feeling of self-disappointment and disapproval.
In this course, students will have the chance to truly practice their own individual point of view in English. Utilizing several, varied activities/exercises and a diverse array of topics, students will have many opportunities to work through these moments, learning to say what they want to say when they need to say it. Themes and topics will be sourced from the class participants and the exact path of the course will be determined based on interest and need.
The ultimate goal of the course is to empower its attendees with the language and confidence to express themselves clearly in a way that they personally feel satisfied with.
