Die Studiengangsvariante richtet sich an Lehramtsstudierende der Grundschule und umfasst zwei Bereiche: Linguistik und Literaturwissenschaft sowie deren zugehörige Didaktiken. Ziel dieser Studiengangsvariante ist es, Studierende mit sprachlichen und literarischen Lern- und Forschungsgegenständen aus fachwissenschaftlicher und -didaktischer Perspektive vertraut zu machen. Der fachwissenschaftliche Fokus liegt dabei auf grundschulrelevanten Aspekten, es werden aber auch weitere (vor-) schulische und außerschulische Kontexte in den jeweiligen Einführungen und in den darauf aufbauenden fachwissenschaftlichen Modulen thematisiert. Für die Linguistik werden die Bereiche Grammatik und Orthographie, Text und Gespräch und sprachliche Erwerbsprozesse in den Blick genommen. Im Bereich Literaturwissenschaft werden Seminare angeboten, die sich mit Leseentwicklung und literarischer Sozialisation, Kinder- und Jugendliteratur und – je nach freier Wahl einer vertiefenden Veranstaltung – mit verschiedenen (Kinder )Medien, -gattungen und -genres beschäftigen. Darüber hinaus werden die fachwissenschaftlichen Kenntnisse im Rahmen von Veranstaltungen der germanistischen Literaturwissenschaft und Linguistik vertieft. Ausgehend von den vermittelten fachwissenschaftlichen Kompetenzen werden in anschließenden fachdidaktischen Veranstaltungen zentrale sprach- bzw. literaturdidaktische Begrifflichkeiten und Theorien sowie Aspekte der unterrichtlichen Vermittlung im Kontext heterogener und inklusiver Lerngruppen vorgestellt und diskutiert. Dabei wird sowohl auf Unterrichtsmaterial als auch auf ein eigenes Bielefelder Videokorpus mit Unterrichtsausschnitten zurückgegriffen.

Wer Lehrer*in werden möchte, muss an diesen Studiengangstyp einen Master of Education für das Lehramt an Grundschulen anschließen.

Course start

Studies can be commenced in both winter and summer semesters. Courses are targeted to commencing studies in winter semester. Student counselling to plan the course of studies is recommended.

Length and scope of studies

The standard period of studies is 6 semesters.

Access requirements

Access to the Bachelor programme is granted to those who have a university entrance qualification suitable for Germany (e. g. German ‘Abitur’).

Application, admission and enrolment ¹

The study places are not subject to any admission restrictions (numerus clausus). Nevertheless, you need to apply within the currently applicable application deadlines. Afterwards, however, you can submit your application for enrolment directly in the application and status portal, provided that you meet the access requirements. If you are already enrolled at Bielefeld University, you need to apply for a change of degree programme.
