Contents, comment

Die kognitive Robotik ist eine Forschungsrichtung an der Schnittstelle
zwischen Kognitionswissenschaft und
Robotik. Kognitionswissenschaftliche Modelle, speziell aus den
Bereichen der Sensorik und Motorik, werden auf Roboterhardware
implementiert und einem Test in der realen Welt unterzogen. Auf diese
Weise läßt sich überprüfen, ob es überhaupt möglich ist, das von den
Modellen vorgeblich erklärte Phänomen mit Hilfe eben dieser Modelle
hervorzubringen. Gegenüber der reinen Computersimulation ist eine
Modellüberprüfung in der realen physikalischen Umwelt wesentlich
strenger, was einen wichtigen Vorzug der kognitiven Robotik
darstellt. Im Seminar werden wir uns zunächst mit der grundlegenden
Methodik und der wissenschafttheoretischen Fundierung der kognitiven
Robotik beschäftigen. Darauf aufbauend werden verschiedene
sensumotorische Modellvorstellungen genauer betrachtet, u.a. zur
Erklärung von Invarianzleistungen in der Wahrnehmung. Weitere
Themengebiete sind sogenannte "interne Modelle" (Wolpert, Kawato) und
situiertes Handeln ("Embodiment"). Scheinerwerb ist durch Referat (mit
Hausarbeit) möglich.
