Kasus- und Kongruenzmerkmale gehören zu den lange Zeit etwas
stiefmütterlich behandelten Phänomenen, deren Wert für die
Sprachtheorie erst über die Einführung der formalen Merkmale
erkannt wurde. Dennoch gilt, dass es bisher kaum Theorien gibt,
die sich mit dem Phänomen gleichzeitig syntaktisch, morphologisch
und semantisch nähern. In diesem Seminar wollen wir versuchen,
uns einer solchen Theorie zu nähern. Zur Sprache kommen sollen
Fragen wie:(a) Typologie der Kasus- und Kongruenzmorphologie
(b) Verhältnis von Morphologie und Syntax in Bezug auf
Kasus und Kongruenz
(c) Semantik von Kasus und von Kongruenzmerkmalen.
