International Diaconic Management (IMADM)

Der englischsprachige Studiengang Internationaler Master Diaconic Management bietet Studierenden des globalen Südens gemeinsam mit Studierenden aus Europa ein interdisziplinäres Studienangebot, das Leitungskompetenzen in der Sozialwirtschaft, vornehmlich Diakonie und Caritas, entwickeln hilft. Er ist die internationale Variante des Masterstudiengangs Diakoniemanagement.
In sechs fünfwöchigen Sektionen wird interdisziplinäres, interkulturelles, globales Lernen erlebt: am IDWM (Institut für Diakoniewissenschaft und Diakoniemanagement) in Bielefeld, der Universität Stellenbosch / Südafrika, der Silliman University / Philippinen, der Tumaini University Daressalaam College / Tanzania und dem Christian Theological College Jakarta / Indonesien. Das zweijährige Lehrprogramm wird zusammen mit der Vereinten Evangelischen Mission organisiert. Der Studiengang eröffnet in vierzehn Modulen theologische, ethische, betriebs- und volkswirtschaftliche Zusammenhänge.

The standard period of studies is 4 semesters.
The studies International Diaconic Management (IMADM) comprise 120 credit points.

Application, admission and enrolment
The study places are not subject to any admission restrictions (numerus clausus). Nevertheless, you need to apply within the currently applicable application deadlines. Afterwards, however, you can submit your application for enrolment directly in the application and status portal, provided that you meet the access requirements. If you are already enrolled at Bielefeld University, you need to apply for a change of degree programme.
