Der Masterstudiengang M.Sc. Klinische Psychologie und Psychotherapie vermittelt Ihnen das nötige Wissen sowie die Fähigkeiten für die Diagnostik, Behandlung und Untersuchung psychischer Störungen. Er ist Voraussetzung für die staatliche Prüfung zur Approbation als Psychotherapeut*in. Im Sinne eines Science-Practitioner-Modells strebt der Studiengang eine enge Verknüpfung von wissenschaftlichem Arbeiten und klinisch-psychologischer Praxis an.

Im ersten Studienjahr werden die Grundlagen der Psychotherapie, Diagnostik, Begutachtung, sowie der klinisch-psychologischen Forschung anwendungsnah vermittelt. Im zweiten Studienjahr liegt der Fokus auf den Praxiseinsätzen im Rahmen der berufsqualifizierenden Tätigkeit (BQT-III). In der ambulanten BQT-III stehen Lehr- und Hospitationstherapien in den drei Ambulanzen der Universität zur Wahl, in der stationären BQT-III eine Vielzahl lokaler und regionaler Kooperationskliniken. Ebenfalls sind für das zweite Jahr die Masterarbeit und die Vorbereitung auf die Approbationsprüfung vorgesehen. Wir unterstützen Sie dabei mit einem praxisorientierten Prüfungstraining.

Access requirements
Access to the Master programme is granted to those who can provide evidence that they have a first university degree which has a standard period of study of at least six semesters, qualifies for exercising a profession and is in accordance with the subject-specific regulations.

Degrees from accredited Bachelor programmes at German ‘Berufsakademien’ are equivalent to Bachelor degrees from universities.
Applicants with a university degree obtained abroad are granted access provided that the degree they have acquired is deemed sufficient for this purpose and they can provide evidence of the required language skills.

As soon as you receive a positive response in the application and status portal (notice of access from the faculty) and receive your admission notice from the Student Office, you can submit your application for enrolment within the set deadline.
