Competencies

Studierende können einen Schulgarten oder vergleichbare botanische Einrichtungen (Museumsgärten, öffentliche Naturerlebnisflächen) konzipieren, anlegen, pflegen und an Hand geeigneter Arten didaktische Konzepte entwickeln und anbieten. Sie verfügen über botanisch fundiertes Grundlagenwissen über heimische Nutzpflanzen und ihre Bedeutung sowie über die relevanten biotischen und abiotischen Grundlagen eines Lehrgartens.

Content of teaching

Planung, Anlage und Pflege eines Lehrgartens. Grundkenntnisse für das heimische Klima geeigneter Nutzpflanzen, darunter Heil-, Zier- und Nahrungspflanzen und ihrer jeweiligen Charakteristika. Grundlagen der Pflanzenernährung und -systematik. Einfache Experimente und didaktische Konzepte der Schulgartenarbeit.

Im Rahmen des Portfolios wird ein Beet im Außengelände der Fakultät für Biologie geplant, angelegt und gepflegt. Die Modulnote wird durch eine mündliche Prüfung oder elektronische mündliche Prüfung auf Distanz (20 Minuten), eine Ausarbeitung von 10-15 Seiten oder einen Vortrag mit Diskussion (20 Minuten) ermittelt.
