Competencies

Studierende können Pflanzen und Tiere heimischer Lebensräume bestimmen und systematisch einordnen. Sie können heimische Lebensräume benennen, charaktierisieren und ihre naturräumliche und ökologische Bedeutung einschätzen. Sie lernen relevante Lebensräume zur Vermittlung von biologischen Kenntnissen im Schulkontext kennen und können spezifische Experimente und Unterrichtsreihen zum dem jeweiligen Lebensraum konzipieren und ausarbeiten.

Content of teaching

Das Praktikum findet in für organismische Untersuchungen ausgestatteten Arbeiträumen geeigneter Institute (z.B. auf Helgoland) statt. Thematisiert werden an dem jeweiligen Lebensraum vorkommende Tier- und Pflanzenarten sowie die Charakteristika ihrer Lebensräume. Zu allen Themenbereichen werden unterrichtspraktische Beiträge entwickelt, die auf Klassenfahrten eingesetzt werden können.
