For information on the duration of the modul, refer to the courses of study in which the module is used.
After completing the module, you will be able to plan long-term, differentiated performance development across various areas of athletic movement. You will independently acquire theoretical knowledge of complex training procedures for the main motor skills, be able to apply this knowledge in practice, and recognize potential deficiencies in the training methods used. For the technomotor aspect of athletic movements, you will be able to make well-founded decisions regarding intervention strategies in technical training based on your knowledge of the relevant coordination and psychological fundamentals.
By addressing specific questions from practical sports practice, you will acquire the necessary knowledge to plan and structure a training process aimed at long-term performance optimization. You will deepen your knowledge of functional training models and training control for motor learning (technical training) and the main motor skills (strength, speed, endurance). For optimization processes of technomotor tasks (technical training), you will learn to define the cognitive and neuroscientific criteria and characteristics of the structure of cyclic and acyclic movements and describe the determinants of successful technical applications in sports. From a competitive sports perspective, you will develop various models of competition and become familiar with selected aspects of competition management (e.g., coaching in competition, routines in training and competition).

The coursework serves to practice a reflective and discursive attitude to the topics covered in the course and has a practising and deepening character with regard to the competences anchored in the module. An academic achievement is the completion of an assignment for practice purposes. Such tasks can be: the preparation of minutes of a meeting, an abstract of a short text, an essay, the preparation of a contribution to a meeting or a project presentation, the solving of application tasks, the moderation of a discussion group or similar. The following applies to all contributions: Students may be required to submit written contributions totalling a maximum of 2400 words or oral contributions totalling a maximum of 50-60 minutes in one course. |
