Competencies

After completing the module, you will be able to critically evaluate the in-depth professional experience you have gained in a company or organization in your desired professional field. The additional skills acquired during the internship will enable you to differentiate your theoretical knowledge and plan its implementation in concrete work or research practice.

Content of teaching

The aim of the module is to provide you with in-depth insight into the working practices and functions of a field of work dealing with sports technology or technologies related to health or rehabilitation sports. This also includes scientific research institutions involved in the development of movement technologies. To this end, you will complete a block internship of at least six weeks at an organization or industrial company in one of the following fields: "prosthetics," "rehabilitation," "ergonomics," "sports performance management and evaluation," "sports equipment development," "sportswear," or "research." Depending on the organization or institution where you complete this practical phase, this module will either be a company internship or a research internship combined with a project study. You are free to choose between further developing the experience gained in your previous practical studies or exploring a new field of activity. However, the final selection of a specific organization is always made after consultation with the Sports Science Department. The internship will be supported by preparatory and follow-up events.
