Competencies

In this module, you will acquire interdisciplinary knowledge and qualifications that are relevant both for the master's course and with regard to career entry and professional practice. In the seminar "Body Presentation and Rhetoric", you will learn to improve your rhetorical skills and body language and acquire self-competence. In the Sports Law course, you will acquire specialised Law skills. You will be able to analyse and deal with legal problems in sports-related professional fields.

You will demonstrate the acquisition of legal expertise and social-communicative skills by showing your understanding of the issues dealt with in the lecture in a written examination.

Content of teaching

In the "Body Presentation and Rhetoric" course, you will be introduced to the basics of rhetoric and body presentation.
The course "Sports Law" is held as a lecture series in which an expert from the Faculty of Law gives a practice-oriented lecture on a sports-related topic from a legal perspective on each individual date. Private law topics such as contract law and sports travel law are discussed, as well as public law topics such as fundamental rights in sport or European sports law. The event will be rounded off with criminal law perspectives, for example on the problem of doping in sport.
