Die Studierenden lernen, Experimente aus dem Bereich der Biophysikalischen Chemie durchzuführen, auszuwerten und kritisch zu diskutieren.

Content of teaching

Es werden Methoden und Konzepte der modernen, biophysikalischen Chemie vermittelt. Angeboten werden ein- bis mehrtägige Versuche aus den Bereichen Streuung, Spektroskopie, Thermodynamik und Kinetik. Mehrere Versuche finden direkt an den Forschungsgeräten der Arbeitsgruppe statt. Die zu untersuchenden Systeme wie z.B. Proteine und Lipidvesikel werden zum Teil selbst präpariert.

Necessary requirements

Ein Praktikum, welches dem aus dem Spezialisierungsmodul "Physikalische Chemie" des Bachelor-Studiengangs Chemie der Universität Bielefeld entspricht, oder eine experimentelle Bachelorarbeit in Physikalischer Chemie. Teilnahme an der Vorlesung "Biophysikalische Chemie II" dieses Studiengangs.
