Competencies

Das Modul "Forschungspraktikum Physikochemie Erweiterung" stellt eine Alternative zum Angebot des Moduls MC6.1 dar. Die erworbenen Kompetenzen decken sich teilweise mit denen in MC6.1, es sollen aber explizit andere experimentelle Methoden als in MC6.1 erlernt werden. Auch die bearbeitete naturwissenschaftliche Fragestellung soll von der des Moduls MC6.1 abweichen oder darüber hinausgehen.

Content of teaching

In einem Modul Forschungspraktikum Synthese lernen die Studierenden

forschungsrelevante experimentelle Methoden,
als Vorbereitung der Experimente ausführliche Literaturstudien durchzuführen,
die selbstständige Problemlösung sowie die Anwendung von erlernten theoretischen Kenntnissen in der praktischen Forschungsarbeit,
einen Forschungsplan zu erstellen,
Planung von Experimenten einschließlich des dabei nötigen Zeitmanagements
die Bewertung und die Interpretation der erhaltener Daten, kritisches Forschen
eine umfangreichere Arbeit von acht Wochen in einem schriftlichen Bericht und in einem Vortrag darzustellen,
schließlich auch das sich Durchbeißen durch die Widrigkeiten einer experimentellen Arbeit.

Dadurch werden die Studierenden an die Anforderungen der Masterarbeit herangeführt.
