Content of teaching

Die Studierenden wählen in Abstimmung mit dem selbstgewählten Betreuer Thema, Fragestellung und Methodik der Masterarbeit. Die Arbeit bezieht sich auf den aktuellen Forschungsstand zum Thema und nutzt die verfügbaren relevanten Quellen.

Die Masterarbeit ist eine schriftliche Hausarbeit im Umfang von 140.000 bis 180.000 Zeichen. Sie wird von einer prüfungsberechtigten Person der Fakultät für Geschichtswissenschaft, Philosophie und Theologie ausgegeben und von dieser und einer weiteren prüfungsberechtigten Person bewertet. Der oder die Studierende kann Vorschläge für das Thema und die weitere prüfende Person machen. Die Bearbeitungszeit beträgt sechs Monate. Die Arbeit ist in dreifacher schriftlicher Ausfertigung fristgerecht abzugeben. Gruppenarbeiten sind für bis zu drei beteiligte Studierende möglich. Der Umfang der Arbeit erhöht sich entsprechend. In der Masterarbeit sind die individuellen Anteile kenntlich zu machen; sie werden individuell benotet.
