Competencies

Ziel ist die Vermittlung eines Einblicks in die Hintergründe und Funktionen der "wichtigsten" Visualisierungswerkzeuge der Bioinformatik. Des Weiteren sollen auch technische Skills im Umgang mit verschiedenen Visualisierungs-/Grafikbibliotheken vermittelt werden.

Content of teaching

Dieses Modul hat zwei Ziele: zunächst soll einen Überblick über bestehende und etablierte Visualisierungsansätze für Biodaten in Form von Vorträgen der Teilnehmer vermittelt. Anschließend, wird eine kleine Anzahl von aktuellen Biodatensätzen vorgestellt, für die neue Visualisierungsansätze in Kleingruppen entwickelt werden.

Literatur: Im Rahmen des Seminars wird wissenschaftlich-technischer Hintergrund über Artikel / Publikationen / Vorträge vermittelt.
