Competencies

Verständnis für wissenschaftlich-psychologische Fragestellungen und Methoden insbesondere bezüglich ihrer Relevanz für die Medizin. Lesen, Verstehen, Reflexion, Präsentation und Diskurs wissenschaftlicher psychologischer Literatur bezüglich Inhalt, Theorie und Methodik. Kennenlernen psychologischer Modelle und Verständnis für deren praktische Relevanz in der Medizin.

Content of teaching

In diesem Modul wird anhand ausgewählter Problembereiche wissenschaftliches Denken und Vorgehen in der Psychologie theoretisch und praktisch erlernt und in seiner Relevanz für medizinische Diagnostik und Intervention mündlich diskutiert und schriftlich erörtert. Dabei werden gender- und diversitätsbezogene Aspekte besonders berücksichtigt.
Die behandelten Themen entstammen den psychologischen Teilgebieten Bio-, Entwicklungs-, Kognitions-, und Neuropsychologie sowie der Persönlichkeitspsychologie. Beispielhafte Themen sind "Mechanismen menschlicher Informationsverarbeitung und ihre Bedeutung für ärztliches Handeln", "Interindividuelle psychologische Unterschiede und ihre Bedeutung für Gesundheit und Krankheit", "Kognitive Entwicklung und Gesundheitsverhalten", "Emotion und Kommunikation im medizinischen Kontext" oder "Entstehung von Stress: Psychologische Mechanismen und gesundheitliche Konsequenzen."

Recommended previous knowledge

Besuch des Moduls 'Einführung in Kommunikation und Psychologie für die Medizin' (5-I-IP-PSK1) sowie Besuch der Vorlesung medizinische Psychologie im Modul 5-I-EINF.
