Der Promotionsstudiengang Erziehungswissenschaft vermittelt vertiefte Kenntnisse und wissenschaftliche Kompetenzen, um eigenständig Forschungsfragen aus der Erziehungswissenschaft und Pädagogik zu bearbeiten. Ziel ist es, Promovierende auf eine erfolgreiche Promotion vorzubereiten und ihre akademische Entwicklung zu fördern.
Das strukturierte Studienprogramm wird individuell mit den Betreuer*innen abgestimmt und berücksichtigt Vorkenntnisse sowie das jeweilige Promotionsthema. Leistungspunkte können u. a. durch Lehrveranstaltungen, Tagungsbeiträge, Publikationen, Lehrtätigkeiten oder überfachliche Qualifikationen erworben werden.
Der Studiengang unterstützt die wissenschaftliche Qualifizierung, die aktive Einbindung in die Scientific Community sowie den Austausch mit Academic Peers.

The studies Educational Science comprise 30 credit points.
Access requirements
Access requirements
Access to the doctoral programme requires an acceptance as a doctoral candidate and fulfilment of the access requirements according to the doctoral regulations of the respective faculty.
Application
Application
As soon as you have been accepted as a doctoral candidate in accordance with the doctoral regulations, you can submit your application for enrolment. You are able to use the German ‘Einschreibehilfe’ [Enrolment assistant]. If you are already enrolled at Bielefeld University, you need to apply for a change of degree programme.
