Economics is concerned with analysing the economic activities of companies and societies. It combines the two classical disciplines of business administration and economics. Bielefeld University takes a quantitative and methodological approach to teaching. An important objective of the programme is to acquire a general professional qualification for a wide range of economic fields of activity. The modern labour market demands flexibility, which can only be achieved through a sound, broad basis. Building on this, you will have the opportunity to specialise individually on the basis of various profiles.
