Curriculum Vitae

After completing her Bachelor's degree in Health Communication (Bielefeld University) and her Master's degree in Public Health (Bielefeld University), Simone Schieskow (née Kreimeier) has been working as a research assistant in the Department of Health Economics and Health Care Management (AG 5) of the School of Public Health since October 2010. In the working group, she focusses on research in the field of health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in children and adolescents. Her doctor thesis, which she completed in November 2020, also focussed on this topic and was entitled "Conceptual and methodological development of quality of life measurement in children and adolescents using the EQ-5D-Y as an example".

Memberships and Functions

Simone Schieskow (née Kreimeier) has been a member of the EuroQol Group since 2016. She has been involved in the EuroQol Group's Youth Working Group since 2020 and has been its deputy head since June 2025.
