Curriculum Vitae
I completed my undergraduate (Bachelor) in life sciences at National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan. Later, I switched to psychology and did a master’s and a PhD at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. My master’s thesis is about decision making, affect, and uncertainty, while my PhD research explores the heterogeneous relationships between each major depression symptom and several aspects including demographics (such as age, educational attainment, employment status, and gender), personality traits and facets, heart rate variability, and physical activity level. The research projects I have worked on are in molecular biology, positive psychology, abnormal psychology, human-animal relationships, special education, and medical education.
