Dr. Carola Haumann

Carola Haumann studied physics in Bielefeld and Lyon and received her doctorate in physics from the University of Bielefeld in 2005. From 2005-2007, she managed research projects as a technology consultant at VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH on behalf of the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research). Her tasks included the organization of workshops, conferences and exhibitions in the fields of nanoelectronics, plasma technology and security research. In August 2007, she joined the newly founded Research Institute for Cognition and Robotics (CoR-Lab) as Vice Managing Director. At CoR-Lab, she is responsible among others for the management of various research projects, the coordination of technology transfer to industry and networking in the large-scale project DZM - enableATO.
