Dora Tinhof completed her Bachelor's (2013-2016) and Master's (2016-2019) degree of psychology at the University of Vienna. In her master thesis she researched motivational predictors of Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD), a relatively new disorder concept. After starting her doctoral studies at the University of Bielefeld in 2019, her focus, shifted to a more general research interest regarding the Internet as integral part of daily life. This interest is reflected in her dissertation project, which aims to analyse stable and variable personality traits in offline and online contexts, using multi-method Latent-State-Trait models for fixed and random situations.
