In der Bibel wird an mehreren Stellen davon erzählt, wie mit Glaubensurkunden verfahren wurde, die die Vorläuferinnen unserer heutigen Bibel sind. Die fünf Bücher Mose sollen alle sieben Jahre wieder gelesen werden (Dtn 31,9-13), ein König ließ die erste Fassung des Jeremiabuches in Stücke schneiden und verbrennen (Jer 36-37 vgl. 1. Kön 18,13-19,37), Ezechiel bekommt von Gott sogar eine Buchrolle zu essen, die in seinem Mund "so süß wie Honig" schmeckt (Ez 2,8-3,3).
Anhand dieser und anderer Befunde soll in diesem Seminar der Frage nachgegangen werden, was es heißt, anhand der Glaubensurkunde "Bibel" den Glauben für die Gegenwart auszuformulieren.
