Der Unterricht mit erwachsenen Zuwanderern stellt eines der wichtigsten Arbeitsfelder innerhalb des Bereichs Deutsch als Zweitsprache dar. Hierin nehmen insbesondere die vom Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF) seit 2005 finanzierten Kurse eine zentrale Rolle ein. Doch was erwartet KursleiterInnen in den so genannten Integrationskursen? Wie groß sind die Teilnehmergruppen? Welche (didaktischen) Ziele werden verfolgt und welche Inhalte sind Bestandteils des Unterrichts? Diese und weitere Fragen werden uns im Seminar beschäftigen.
Ausgehend von gesetzlichen Rahmenbedingungen (Einbürgerungsrecht, Integrationskursverordnungen etc.) und den theoretischen Grundlagen (GER und Rahmencurriculum) werden wir uns mit den unterschiedlichen Konzepten für Standardintegrations-, Frauen-/Eltern-, Jugend-, Förder-, Alphabetisierungs- und Orientierungskurs, dem Einstufungs- und Prüfungsverfahren sowie mit den Bedingungen, die eine Einbürgerung ermöglichen (z. B. Einbürgerungstest) befassen. Ziel des Seminars ist, dieses wichtige Arbeitsfeld der Erwachsenenbildung aus einer stark praxisorientierten Sicht kennenzulernen.
