230697 Writing Colloquially: A Creative Writing Colloquium (Ko) (WiSe 2026/2027)

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that an emerging writer must be in want of dedicated writing time.
Well, here it is!
If you’re looking for two hours a week dedicated purely to creative writing together with a group of like-minded people, this colloquium might be for you!
Whether you use our carefully thought-out writing prompts or work on your own project, whether you want to share your work with the group or would rather keep it to yourself: you can use this time however you want (within the limitations of this class, university, and Germany as a whole).
We are looking forward to create and share our yet-to-be-written stories with you!
As Pat Skorge (rest in retirement) used to say: You are only a writer, when you write.

While this course will be held in English, students of other disciplines are also very welcome! Writing in English is also not a requirement, you can write in whatever language you’d like. However, English will be the language of writing prompts and in-class conversation.
