Aufbauend auf der Vorlesung (392199) sollen die Teilnehmer das erworbene Wissen praktisch im Rahmen eigener Studien anwenden. Im Vordergrund stehen die Aufzeichnung und Verarbeitung von Videodaten und Messwerten von Sportlern während des Trainings und im Wettkampf. Dazu können die Teilnehmer mehrere körpernahe Sensoren (Beschleunigungssensoren, Sensorik für die Herzaktivität, die Temperatur- und den Hautleitwert) einsetzen und die in der Sporthalle der Universität installierten Videokameras nutzen. Die praktische Arbeit soll die Erfassung und Verarbeitung der Daten von einem oder mehreren Sensoren sowie eine Dokumentation der durchgeführten Versuche umfassen.
Das in der Vorlesung erworbene Wissen soll auf die Erfassung und Verarbeitung von physiologischen und kinematischen Daten im Sport angewendet werden. In dem Zusammenhang sollen die Teilnehmer eine wissenschaftliche Herangehensweise an einem oder mehreren Teilproblemen üben.
