In this seminar students will be helped and guided in the planning and performing of a presentation in English on a topic from their own subject area. In the first sessions students will consult with the seminar leader and decide on a topic within their own subject area on which they will prepare a presentation in English intended for a non-specialist public. The first part of the course will be devoted to the planning, drafting and rehearsing of this presentation under the guidance and advice of the seminar leader. Toward the end of the course each student will present his/her finished product to the seminar group (length 30 minutes).
Students will be expected to apply what they have learned in the first two seminars of the module about language pedagogy and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), respectively. The oral presentation together with a written commentary/reflection (most likely in the form of a portfolio) will constitute the Modulprüfung.

In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
