Viele Standardprobleme aus der Analysis und (linearen) Algebra
lassen sich mit Hilfe von mathematischen Softwarepaketen
wesentlich schneller und einfacher, oder überhaupt erst lösen.Als Beispiele seien hier so einfache Dinge wie das Lösen
von Gleichungssystemen, das Invertieren von Matrizen, oder
auch das Integrieren und Differenzieren von Funktionen genannt.Durch praktische Übungen, die sich am Inhalt der
Veranstaltungen Mathematik I/II orientieren, soll
zum einen der Umgang mit mathematischen Softwarepaketen erlernt
und zum anderen das Verständnis des Stoffes dieser Grundvorlesungen
vertieft werden. Als konkretes Beispiel eines mathematischen
Softwarepakets wird dabei das Computeralgebrasystem Maple benutzt
werden.
