Mit der Korpuslinguistik als Methodik ist es möglich, linguistische Fragestellungen aus allen Subdisziplinen zu beantworten. Dazu werden Korpora, reale Daten in Form von digitalisierten Textsammlungen, genutzt. In diesem Seminar sollen die Teilnehmer einen Einblick in den Bereich der Korpuslinguistik bekommen.

Dazu werden zu Beginn alle für die Korpuslinguistik notwendigen Begriffe eingeführt. Später sollen dann linguistische Fragestellungen anhand von kleinen und großen Korpora überprüft werden. Dabei sollen die Teilnehmer und Teilnehmerinnen auch lernen, eigenständig praktisch zu arbeiten und eine Antwort auf die von ihnen gestellten Fragen zu bekommen. Mögliche Fragestellungen können z.B. aus dem Bereich der Phonetik/Phonologie, der Morphologie oder der Syntax kommen; Worstellungsvariationen, Produktivität deutscher Affixe oder auch syntaktische Konstruktionen könnten dabei in den Mittelpunkt gerückt werden.

Welche Wörter werden häufig zusammen verwendet (Kollokationen)?
Welches sind häufige Wörter in einer bestimmten Fachsprache?
Wie sehen Wortstellungsvarianten im Mittelfeld aus?
Wann hört man auf, ein bestimmtes Wort/eine bestimmte phonetische Variante zu verwenden?
