In dieser Werkstatt wird die Tiefdrucktechnik der Radierung (Kaltnadel, Strichätzung, Hartgrund, Weichgrund, Aquatinta) vermittelt. Die Druckplatten werden aus Zinkblech selbst vorbereitet und bearbeitet.
Nach vorheriger Absprache sind folgende Themen vorgesehen:
1. "Die kleinen Dinge des Alltäglichen." Es geht bei diesem Thema um die zeichnerische Darstellung von Objekten, die uns täglich begegnen und deren Umsetzung in eine geeignete Radiertechnik.
2. "Abstrakt experimentelle Bildfindung über eine gezielte Aufgabenstellung." Hier können unterschiedliche Werkzeuge erprobt und die gestalterischen Spuren, die sie hinterlassen, untersucht und zur Bildfindung herangezogen werden.
