Das Projektseminar findet begleitend zu einem Projekt im Rahmen der von
der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) geförderten verteilten
Forschergruppe "Texttechnologische Informationsmodellierung" statt.Texttechnologische Formalismen und Anwendungsgebiete sollen
gleichermaßen präsentiert und von den Teilnehmern erarbeitet werden.
Das Hauptaugenmerk gilt dabei Standards und Spezifikationen der
Sprachtechnologie und deren Umsetzung in verschiedenen Aufgaben. Des
weiteren sollen Information-Retrieval-Strategien auf Basis von XML
annotierten Texten im Rahmen von praktischen Arbeiten angewandt werden.Für den Erwerb eines Leistungsnachweises (Hauptstudium) ist neben der
regelmäßigen Teilnahme und aktiven Mitarbeit die Bearbeitung eines
Projekts notwendig. B.A.-Studierende mit dem Kernfach Linguistik und dem Profil Texttechnologie haben die Möglichkeit, dieses zu einer Bachelor-Arbeit auszubauen.
