Eine obligatorische Vorbesprechung findet am 22.10.2015 statt. Anschließend werden in vier gemeinsamen Sitzungen (05.11./19.11./03.12./17.12.) zunächst Techniken wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens rekapituliert, die für die Erstellung von schriftlichen Arbeiten besonders wichtig sind (bspw. Themenfindung, Literaturrecherche, Zitieren, Formulieren und Argumentieren, formale Gestaltung von schriftlichen Arbeiten). Themenabsprachen für Hausarbeiten (bzw. Vorplanungen für Referate) finden als Einzelberatungen im Rahmen der Sprechstunde statt.

Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung wird die unbenotete Modulprüfung (Modell 2011) oder eine benotete Einzelleistung (Modell 2002) erbracht. Beide Leistungen können als Hausarbeit oder (in Einzelfällen) in Form einer Seminargestaltung inkl. schriftlicher Ausarbeitung im Seminar "Homosexualität als Unterrichtsthema" (Lenz) erbracht werden.
