In this seminar we will look at different literary genres the world is offering us and which of them we can use for English Language Teaching (ELT) in primary school. As literature requires reading and writing, we will take a closer look at the respective competences of the curriculum as well as intercultural competences and how we are able to practically implement them in our teaching. We will take some extra time to specifically focus on the method of storytelling and will try it out for ourselves. During our seminar you will collect and save your newly gained knowledge in a lapbook, a frequently used method in primary school.
Please note that students who started their degrees in or after 2023, or for some other reason are studying in the NEW FSB, have to have passed the Language Proficiency Test before taking Profile Module 1 seminars.

In cases where a module description mentions more than one kind of assignment, the respective member of the teaching staff will decide which task(s) they assign the students.
