In this class we will be looking at language testing, specifically English language testing. A focus will lie on different testing methods used - proficiency tests, aptitude tests, placement tests, diagnostic tests and so forth - as well as the statistics behind these tests. Students attending this class will gain a better understanding of what it means when they read about means, medians, t-tests, and SD.
