Anlässlich des 300. Kirchweihjubiläums von St. Johannes Baptist in Herford im Herbst 2015 soll in diesem "Hauptmodul Vormoderne" (das dazugehörige Seminar ist: Jan Brademann / Michael Zozmann - Eine katholische Enklave in Ostwestfalen. Zur Geschichte der Kirchengemeinde St. Johannis Baptist zu Herford) anhand ausgewählter thematischer Schwerpunkte die Geschichte der Gemeinde aufgearbeitet und öffentlich präsentiert werden.
Beide Veranstaltungen des Hauptmoduls sind eng miteinander verflochten. Der inhaltliche Schwerpunkt der Übung wird der Umgang mit Quellen und Literatur (Finden, Erschließen, Auswerten) sowie die Produktion von Texten (Verfassen, Diskutieren, Überarbeiten, Präsentieren) sein.
Achtung: Die Arbeit wird nicht immer wöchentlich in der Universität stattfinden, es sind auch Archivbesuche und Blocksitzungen geplant, insbesondere wenn es dann um die Vorbereitung der Ergebnispräsentation gehen wird.
