In dieser Vorlesung geht es darum, die zentralen methodologischen Prämissen und Prinzipien sowie die wichtigsten Einzelmethoden und Interpretationsansätze der qualitativen Sozialforschung auf einem fortgeschrittenen Niveau darzustellen.
In der Veranstaltung wird nicht nur die Verfahrenslogik der qualitativen Forschung anhand exemplarischer Studien vermittelt, sondern es geht auch um Fragen der praktischen Durchführung von qualitativen Studien sowie um die komplexe Beziehung zwischen empirischer und theoretischer Arbeit in der qualitativen Sozialforschung.
