WAS IST COMPUTERLINGUISTIK
In der Computerlinguistik geht es darum, wie geschriebene und gesprochene Sprache maschinell verarbeitet werden kann. Zu diesem Zweck können beispielsweise formale Modelle aus der Linguistik oder Ideen aus kognitiven Modellen in Computern umgesetzt werden. Zu den Anwendungsgebieten der Computerlinguistik gehören die maschinelle Übersetzung, automatische Spracherkennung und Dialogsysteme.
WORUM GEHT ES?
Wir werden vor allem der Frage nachgehen, was ein Computer können muss, um auf natürliche Weise mit Menschen zu kommunizieren. Dazu gehört:
- Sprache verstehen (und auch mitverstehen, was nicht explizit gesagt wird)
- Sprache produzieren
- Führen zusammenhängender Dialoge
- Verbindung verbaler und non-verbaler Kommunikation (z.B. Gesten verstehen und einsetzen)ZIEL
Das Ziel ist es, am Beispiel von Dialogsystemen, Jeopardy spielenden Supercomputern und der Interaktion mit virtuellen Agenten einen kleinen Einblick in die Computerlinguistik zu geben.
WER?
Studentinnen, die Interesse an computerlinguistischen Fragestellungen und dem Studienfach „Texttechnologie und Computerlinguistik“ haben
