270023 New perspectives and recent developments in maltreatment & violence research (S) (WiSe 2024/2025)

Contents, comment

In this course we deal with the current development of research in the field of maltreatment and violence research. The course is designed as a participatory journal club in which students can and should contribute their interests.
In terms of content, we focus on the assessment of maltreatment and adverse childhood experience, on the consequences and prevention of maltreatment. Inter- and transdisciplinary research approaches as well as methodological challenges will be discussed intensively and in a solution-oriented manner on the basis of current studies.
