Die für Master-Studierende der Literaturwissenschaft vorgesehene Einführungsveranstaltung vermittelt systematisches Grundwissen zu Konzepten und Methoden der aktuellen Vergleichenden Literaturwissenschaft. Zentrale Begriffe, Modelle und Theorien der Komparatistik werden im Rahmen der Lektüre einschlägiger theoretischer Texte sowie im Umgang mit exemplarischen literarischen Texten (bzw. Filmen) verschiedener Epochen der romanischen Literaturen vom Mittelalter bis zur Gegenwart erarbeitet.
Die Textmaterialien werden zu Semesterbeginn im Lernraum bereitgestellt.
