Das Seminar wird im Hybrid-Format angeboten (Präsenz und via Zoom).
In der Übung "Lateinische Grammatik und Sprachübungen II" werden die im Modul LatBM1 erworbenen aktiven Sprachkenntnisse vertieft und im Bereich der Satzlehre erweitert. Die erworbenen Kenntnisse werden durch die Übersetzung mittelschwerer zusammenhängender deutscher Texte ins Lateinische gezielt geübt.
In der Übung "Lateinisch-deutsche Übersetzungspraxis II: Dichtung" werden auf der Grundlage eines zentralen dichterischen Textes (i.d.R. Ovid) die Methoden und Techniken der Texterschließung und Textinterpretation vermittelt und ihre Anwendung durch gründliche Lektüre gezielt geübt.
Ziel der Lehrveranstaltung ist die Ausbildung der Übersetzungskompetenz im Bereich der lateinischen Dichtung. Gelesen werden Auszüge aus
- Vergil, Aeneis,
- Ovid, Amores,
- Ovid, Metamorphosen.

Die Übung baut auf den in BM 1 erworbenen Kompetenzen auf.
