Verortung & Inhalt:
Die Veranstaltung knüpft inhaltlich an die in der Veranstaltung „Statistik I“ behandelten Inhalte an. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf der korrekten Anwendung und Interpretation sogenannter „Regressionsanalysen“, die die Berücksichtigung weiterer Einflussfaktoren bei Zusammenhängen zwischen Merkmalen ermöglichen.Vorlesung & Tutorien:
Die Veranstaltung “Statistik II“ besteht aus einer 45-minütigen Vorlesung und 90-minütigen Tutorien. In der Vorlesung werden wöchentlich die Grundlagen der entsprechenden Verfahren(-sschritte) vorgestellt, die dann in den begleitenden Tutorien mit dem Statistikprogramm „Stata“ anhand von Umfragedaten des „European Social Surveys“ praktisch angewendet werden.Lernziele & Kompetenzen
Die Studierenden lernen im Rahmen der Veranstaltung die adäquate Anwendung regressionsanalytischer Verfahren und die Fähigkeit, Ergebnisse solcher Analyseverfahren interpretieren sowie kritisch diskutieren zu können.

Erfolgreicher Besuch der Vorlesung „Statistik I“, d.h. die Klausur zu „Statistik I“ muss mit mindestens „ausreichend“ (4,0) bestanden worden sein.
